ABOUT THE BLUEGRASS CHALLENGE ACADEMY
Welcome to the Bluegrass Challenge Academy!
Growing up today is hard. Most youth find it challenging ,but eventually 'get it'. Those who struggle are often labeled as At-Risk Youth and do not attain reachable goals on their own. At Bluegrass Challenge Academy , we are committed to teaching, coaching and mentoring At-Risk Youth by providing the tools required to fulfill a second chance. Throughout the program we strive to provide life-changing skills through teaching, coaching and mentoring. We focus on the fundamentals: life coping skills, job skills, responsible citizenship, leadership/followership, health and hygiene, service to community and physical fitness. We provide hope when it appears there is none. Since 1999, more than 3400 At-Risk Kentucky Youth have completed the ChalleNGe, received a second chance and have become productive citizens.

Our Mission
The Mission of the Kentucky National Guard Bluegrass Youth ChalleNGe Program is to intervene and reclaim the lives of at-risk youth to produce program graduates with the values, skills, education and self-discipline necessary to excel as adults.
